About the position

As a Production Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop and ensure efficient, stable, and standardized manufacturing processes in our factory. We have a clear focus on standardized work, documentation, and improvement of work methods in production, and there are great opportunities to influence and make a real difference.

You will work closely with our employees to ensure that the right standards, instructions, and work methods are in place – and that they actually work in everyday life. An important part of the role is to analyze the current situation, identify gaps, and drive improvements related to quality, efficiency, and staffing. The work also involves technical administration and documentation related to customer requirements within IATF and ISO.

You will report to the technical manager and become part of a knowledgeable team of production engineers who together work on our modernization project at Dana Spicer Nordiska Kardan AB.

Examples of tasks:

• Develop, improve, and implement standardized work in production

• Ensure that processes and documentation meet requirements according to IATF and ISO

• Participate in and drive improvement, investment, and automation projects

• Support production and other functions during deviations and changes

• Collaborate closely with operators and internal departments

The position is located in Åmål.

Requirements

• Post-secondary technical education, such as mechanical engineering

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Strong technical interest

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience as a production engineer or similar role

• Experience from the automotive industry or other heavy industry

• Knowledge of CAD

• Experience in standardized work, preparation, or improvement work
