About the Role

As the Verification Manager for the subsystems related to computer platforms, you will be responsible for ensuring that the subsystem functions as a whole and meets the established requirements for functionality, safety, and quality. The role combines practical work in a lab environment with structured documentation and technical analysis. You will work closely with subsystem designers, software developers, and subsystem managers to verify that the various components of the hardware interact correctly, that requirements are met, and that the platform can withstand relevant external and environmental conditions. As a technical hub, you will ensure traceability, correctness, and clear communication throughout the entire development chain.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Verify that the computer platform's subsystems meet functionality, safety, and quality requirements.
• Conduct tests, measurements, and troubleshooting in a lab environment and evaluate how the system performs under various external and environmental conditions.
• Work based on structured requirements management and ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and verification results.
• Collaborate with subsystem designers and software teams to ensure correct integration between hardware and software.
• Support the subsystem manager with analyses, verification results, and documentation for technical decisions.
• Document tests, deviations, analyses, and technical assessments according to applicable quality and safety procedures.

Mandatory Requirements

• Relevant post-secondary education, such as information technology, electrical engineering/electronics, systems engineering, or similar.
• Practical work experience in hardware-related tasks, such as lab testing, measurements, troubleshooting, or integration of electronic or computer systems.
• Good understanding of systems engineering, preferably regarding hardware components.
• Comfortable working with technical documentation and requirements management.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Swedish citizenship.
• Driver's license B.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with Linux, Jira, EMC, and/or military standards.
• Worked according to the V-model.
