The Department of Clinical Sciences (KV) hereby announces a 2-month position as a research assistant.

About the job

Work within the field of cardiology, small animals. This involves active participation in a project regarding chronic valvular heart disease in dogs (Chihuahua).

Your background

To be eligible for the position, a completed veterinary program in Sweden is required. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are communicative with a good ability to create and maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues. You are structured, methodical, have good self-awareness, and a willingness to contribute to the organization.

Selection among eligible applicants will be based on a written application including a verified CV, thesis, personal references, and sufficient knowledge of English. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

About us

The Department of Clinical Sciences is responsible for undergraduate education, research, and doctoral education in anesthesiology, imaging diagnostics, animal care, epidemiology, laboratory animal science, surgery, clinical chemistry, medicine, and reproduction. Our activities span all animal species across all subjects.
