Within the Maternity and BB/Gynecological Care Department 12 in Sundsvall, approximately 80 employees work, and we handle about 1500 deliveries per year. Our staff group has a combined competence of doctors, midwives, nurses, and nursing assistants. We have a close collaboration with the hospital's neonatal department located in nearby premises. At our workplace, we work with continuous improvements in the operations to create a good working environment, efficient processes, and to meet the patient's needs.

As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute to taking care of others and helping people feel better. The nursing assistant is an important and obvious role in the team, and your work contributes to safe patient care of good quality. We are now looking for Nursing Assistants for temporary positions, full-time, for the summer of 2026, based in Sundsvall. Start date is according to agreement. The temporary positions involve shift work, including every other weekend. We apply individual scheduling, and we plan your onboarding based on previous experience.

As a nursing assistant, you perform nursing assistant tasks that occur in a care department, such as basic care, monitoring vital parameters, wound care, and sample collection. The tasks are varied, including:

• Assisting during delivery
• Caring for new parents and children
• Caring for gynecological and gynecological oncology patients

We are looking for someone who

• Has a valid nursing assistant education
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in emergency care and/or maternity, BB/gynecological care
