Here, clinical research is conducted on patients across many different therapeutic areas with various diagnoses on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, and academia. The unit's mission includes all aspects of clinical studies - from idea to completed and reported study.

We are now looking for a research nurse for our unit with an initial placement in the gastroenterology, hepatology, and intestinal clinic. Currently, there are 19 people working at EKS. The team, consisting of nurses, project managers, and doctors, strives not only for high competence in the field, professional care, and great flexibility but also aims to be a workplace characterized by warmth, participation, and joy. Right now, we have many assignments in the gastroenterology, hepatology, and intestinal clinic and want to strengthen our resources.

As a research nurse/study coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring that study-related tasks are performed in accordance with the study protocol and in accordance with applicable routines, guidelines, and regulations, focusing on the health and well-being of study participants. You are responsible for coordinating several parallel studies together with colleagues. The work consists of planning and conducting studies with a focus on the patient, which includes:

- Planning for appointments regarding e.g., staff, equipment, and examinations, etc.

- Practical study-related tasks such as; sampling, sample handling, EKG, spirometry, blood pressure, and/or other study-specific examinations

- Medication management

- Responsible for training study procedures to participants and other clinical staff

- Administration of study-related documentation

- Contact and coordination with other entities such as the pharmaceutical industry, pharmacies, laboratories, radiology, etc.

- Concluding studies at the clinic/preparing documents for archiving.

good understanding of the English language. To thrive in the role, you are:
