Our team consists of a competent group of doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. The atmosphere is positive and we have a strong community where everyone is an important part of the team. The medical area is one of the largest at the university hospital and is organizationally divided into five sections: endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, and general internal medicine. Here, patients with diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, blood diseases, kidney diseases, and patients needing acute internal medical care, often elderly and multi-sick patients, are treated. Each section has an outpatient clinic. There are also three wards for admitted patients.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the county's three acute hospitals where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. Both in 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the most significant category for medical quality, had the best results in accessibility, economy, and in avoiding pressure ulcers and overcrowding. Nurse for the Endoscopy Clinic USÖ

We perform acute and planned examinations such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies. We also perform more advanced endoscopy and nurse-led outpatient visits with pressure measurements. Your main tasks will be to assist in examinations and work closely with patients. As a nurse, it also includes administering medications during procedures that require it, including providing sedative medications. You will work with technical equipment, a job that is both independent and collaborative in a team. You inform and meet the patient based on the individual's needs and conditions.

Requirements:

Licensed nurse with a few years of experience

Desirable:

Experience in gastroenterology, surgery, or operations.

Ongoing selection may occur.
