Our team consists of a competent group of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, as well as a dietitian and a social worker. The atmosphere is positive and we have a strong community where everyone is an important part of the team. To drive development forward in the field, research and education are a natural part of our operations. We also have a close collaboration with the endoscopy clinic.

The medical area is one of the largest at the university hospital and is organizationally divided into five sections: endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, and general internal medicine. Here, patients are cared for with conditions such as diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, blood disorders, kidney diseases, and patients who need acute internal medicine care, often elderly and multi-sick patients. Each section has an outpatient clinic. There are also three wards for admitted patients.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the three acute hospitals in the region where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. Both in 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the most important category for medical quality, had the best results in accessibility, economy, and in avoiding pressure ulcers and overcrowding. USÖ also tops the results in the areas of heart, kidney failure, and vascular surgery. USÖ has approximately 3,500 employees. Here at our clinic, we follow and treat patients with various gastroenterological and hepatological diseases, including liver transplant patients. The job responsibilities mainly include conducting patient visits with intravenous infusions and injections, telephone counseling, and responding to inquiries in 1177. We also have a nurse-led clinic for certain patient groups.

Requirements:

Licensed nurse with a few years of experience in the profession.

Meritorious:

Experience in gastroenterology or outpatient work.

Ongoing selection may occur.
