Together, we work in a variety of professions and activities that all build our future Växjö. And now we need your help to work for a good day – every day.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for you who want to work with people and are interested in an important, varied, and fun summer job. A job with us means that you meet people who need your help, support, and commitment.
You can work in residential care for the elderly, in home care where you take care of care recipients in their homes, or with people with various forms of disabilities.
The activities you can work in are;
- Work and Welfare - Adult Social Psychiatry and LSS-Children
- Care Administration - Care for disabilities including short-term activities for children and adults, daily activities, group housing, personal assistance, service housing, and housing support.
- Care Administration - Elderly care, special housing, or home care.
Our activities run around the clock, every day of the week, so you can work days, evenings, weekends, or nights. We need summer substitutes during June, July, and August. Continuity is important for our care recipients, and you who can work the entire summer period will therefore be prioritized.
QUALIFICATIONS
If you are interested in working with people, you are welcome to apply, as we place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have completed or are currently studying in healthcare and care, or other equivalent education. We are also interested in those studying pedagogy or behavioral science at the university level.
You as a person need to be engaged, responsible, and meet people based on their conditions. You need to be good at collaborating but also have the ability to work independently.
The job includes documentation, so it is important that you are computer literate and can express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
To be considered for employment, you need to provide an extract from the police criminal record for verification of your own information in the criminal record/individual (442.3) according to § 9, 1st paragraph. You can order the extract from the criminal record at https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/ (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/). Please note that it takes about two weeks to receive the extracts, so order in good time. You will submit the criminal record extract to the recruiting manager in a sealed envelope.
The start date may vary. Some workplaces offer orientation in the spring of 2026, while others have orientation in connection with the start of the temporary position. Recruitment is ongoing, so submit your application as soon as possible. Welcome with your application!
