The Department of Individual and Family Care is part of the Social Administration in Lomma Municipality, and our work targets adults, families, and children and youth. We who work in the department offer establishment efforts, support, advice, assistance, and treatment measures in areas such as refugee reception, economics, addiction, and mental health.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Unit for Work and Integration works to strengthen individuals' opportunities for self-sufficiency through active labor market measures, guidance, and collaboration with employers. With the introduction of stricter activity requirements, the need for structured follow-up, quality assurance, and developed working methods increases – therefore, we are now looking for a labor market consultant who will also have a special coordinating responsibility within the activity requirement during the initial period of the role.
As a labor market consultant, you will play an important role in supporting people on their path to work or studies. Your assignment includes:
- Providing individual and motivating support to job seekers through conversations, mapping, and jointly developed action plans.
- Monitoring participants' activities, attendance, and development with a coaching approach.
- Matching participants to internships, work training, or jobs based on their conditions and goals.
- Being responsible for documentation and reporting according to applicable regulations.
The role also includes coordinating work around the activity requirement and ensuring a legally secure and structured follow-up. You will collaborate internally, contribute to the development of working methods and techniques, and compile and analyze statistics to support follow-up and organizational development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant university education in, for example, social work, behavioral science, personnel/HR, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Experience working with labor market issues, government contacts, or guidance.
- Good documentation and computer skills.
Meritorious:
- Experience working with activity requirements, labor market policy programs, or similar.
- Experience with coordination responsibilities, quality work, or process development.
- Good knowledge of the local employer network and the conditions of the labor market.
- Experience working in a politically governed organization and knowledge of the laws and regulations that apply within public operations and the Swedish labor market.
- Training in any of the methods IPS and MI.
