Job Responsibilities

Måltidsservice Halmstad produces and delivers meals to 270 patients and 350 staff and visitors at Hallands Hospital Halmstad.

In addition, food is produced for catering. Our mission is to prepare meals from scratch together with competence, pride, and care. We honor our traditions while following trends and drawing inspiration from various cultures.

The tasks include a variety of duties such as assisting chefs, catering work including sandwiches and salads, dishwashing, etc. You will also conduct self-checks according to HACCP.

About the Workplace

Måltidsservice is a vital and critical part of the hospitals' supply chain, and we work for a robust hospital – where patients and staff are guaranteed a safe and secure environment.

Måltidsservice Halmstad produces approximately 1000 meals daily for patients, staff, and visitors at Hallands Hospital Halmstad. Additionally, food is produced for catering and café operations. We have about 30 employees distributed across various professions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in the kitchen and restaurant industry, preferably with experience in large kitchens. Completed training in HACCP is an advantage.

You are a willing worker with a positive attitude and a focus on customer satisfaction. You enjoy working both independently and in a team. We expect you to be interested in food and service and have the willingness to take responsibility and engage. To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to communicate and collaborate easily. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is a requirement. Personal suitability is highly valued.
