Nurse/Specialist Nurse for Day Surgery Center and Recovery Unit at Södertälje Hospital:

Rotational position between Day Surgery Center and Recovery Unit – for those who want to follow the entire care chain!

Do you want to work in two interconnected care environments where you follow the patient through the entire care process? We are looking for a nurse or specialist nurse for a rotational position between the Day Surgery Center (DKC) and the Recovery Unit (UVA) at Södertälje Hospital.

What does the rotational position entail?

As an employee in this combined position, you will have the opportunity to work in two different but closely linked care environments throughout the care process – from admission and preparation for surgery to awakening and discharge.

At the Day Surgery Center, you will work with preparations for both planned and emergency procedures in general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology. We currently do not accept children. You will meet the patient both before and after surgery and be responsible for follow-up before discharge. In the Recovery Unit, you will take care of the patient in the postoperative phase, monitor vital functions, make assessments, and implement measures to ensure a safe recovery.

Your qualifications:

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with the right to practice within Swedish healthcare.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.

Meritorious:

• Previous work experience in postoperative care.
• Specialist training in intensive care and/or anesthesia.

Employment form:

Permanent employment, full-time or as agreed. Monday-Friday, no weekends or public holidays.
