The Energy Office in Mälardalen is looking for someone who wants to make a difference in energy efficiency and sustainable energy transition. About the position

The Energy Office in Mälardalen supports companies and public organizations with energy efficiency and sustainable energy transition. Our purpose is to accelerate the work of reducing climate impact, and as an energy mapper with us, you will play a central role in that work.

You will have a broad and relationship-building role with both operational and strategic elements. You will work closely with the business sector, public sector, and other actors in the energy transition, both regionally, nationally, and even in European contexts. Creating and maintaining long-term relationships is a natural and important part of the assignment. You will work with small and medium-sized enterprises, industries, and properties within Mälardalen.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Planning, coordinating, and implementing projects and mappings, including measuring and collecting data.
• Documenting and analyzing energy, resource, and efficiency improvements.
• Writing reports, proposing, and following up on concrete efficiency measures focusing on economic savings and reduced climate impact.
• Developing methods and approaches for consulting and contributing to communicating and marketing the Energy Office's offerings.
• Participating in networking meetings, seminars, and events to build and maintain good relationships with key actors and customers.
• Clarifying and highlighting the Energy Office's service portfolio and operations.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in energy mapping work in properties and/or industries; it is advantageous if you are a certified energy mapper. It is also a plus if you have experience and interest in sales. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and you have good computer skills. A driver's license (B) and access to a car are required for the position.

💼 The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start according to agreement.

📍 The primary location is Eskilstuna, alternatively Uppsala. Some possibility for remote work. Travel within Mälardalen is included in the position.
