Job Description

Teamwork is a crucial part of caring for the seriously ill patient. As a healthcare assistant, you will handle patients in a team together with nurses and doctors. We work for a collaborative environment across all professional categories. The work is varied with sometimes high tempo. Examples of common tasks include caring for the acutely ill patient, taking samples, and assisting doctors and nurses.

With us, you will work in emergency teams, which consist of a healthcare assistant, a nurse, and a doctor with shared patients, workplaces, and routines; most things are done together! The number of teams varies throughout the day. The Emergency Department is a constantly evolving operation, and it requires great commitment and innovative thinking from our skilled employees to continuously develop our services in a way that benefits our patients.

Upon hiring as a healthcare assistant, you will receive an individual introduction. You will also have a personal mentor.

About You

We are looking for you who are a trained healthcare assistant with a focus on emergency care. Previous experience in inpatient care and prior experience in emergency care is highly meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Introduction is offered based on a structure that takes into account your previous experiences.

To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. We are looking for someone who is flexible and can shift focus as tasks can change rapidly in our emergency environment. We work in teams across professional categories, and therefore you need to be able to collaborate well with others. You will meet patients and relatives in your work and therefore need to be stable and secure in your professional role, while also being professionally attentive to those you meet and communicate clearly.
