Social Services

The Social Services are responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by the individual at the center to meet the individual's needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

In elderly care, you will be involved in supporting and improving the daily lives of those who need assistance. We look forward to you wanting to work with us and make daily life better for the people we support and serve!

Strandgården

Strandgården is our daily activity for individuals with dementia living at home. Our mission is to offer social community, structure, and activities tailored to each person's abilities, interests, and needs. We work person-centered and place great emphasis on good encounters, continuity, and relationships.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you will, among other things:

  • Work closely with individuals with dementia and provide support in daily life
  • Plan and implement tailored activities that stimulate memory, movement, and social interaction
  • Create safety through a calm, respectful, and person-centered approach
  • Observe, document, and follow up on participants' needs and well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals
  • Participate in educational meals together with the guests

The working hours are currently scheduled for daytime, Monday to Friday. The operation is under development, and there may be a need for changed working hours in the future, which may involve work in the evenings and weekends. Therefore, we appreciate your flexibility and openness to this.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

  • Are a trained nursing assistant
  • Have experience working with individuals with dementia (highly meritorious)
  • Have good knowledge of dementia diseases and a professional approach in cases of cognitive impairment
  • Are calm, empathetic, and secure in yourself
  • Have the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
