We within the field of care and support are responsible for municipal care and support in the areas of elderly care and disability. Our employees have expertise in the medical, behavioral science, and social fields, as well as in language and culture. We always start from the customer's needs and provide each customer with a good reception, excellent service, security, and influence. Our work is characterized by responsibility, meetings, and interaction with other people.

You will work across all operations within the social psychiatry unit. The unit consists of housing support, Kanalhuset daily activities, Ruffen and Bryggan meeting points, and ILSA daily activities. Where you work on a given day depends on the needs of the operations, e.g., which unit has absence or increased workload that day. Great flexibility and understanding that planning can change at short notice are required. You may also need to move between units during the same day.

You will work a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Evening work may occur. You will have fixed working hours. The unit manager leads and distributes the work within your fixed working hours.

Housing support is a service for individuals over 18 years old living with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. The service is assessed for assistance. Housing support is tailored to the individual needs and abilities of the customer. For example, housing support may involve assisting in planning the customer's week, helping to manage the household, and breaking social isolation. Housing support is provided both in central Åkersberga and outside the central areas, including Ljusterö.

Kanalhuset is an activity center for individuals over 18 years old living with mental disabilities. The service is currently assessed for assistance. The purpose of the service is to break social isolation. At Kanalhuset, one can participate in creative activities such as textiles and painting.

Ruffen and Bryggan are meeting points for individuals over 18 years old living with mental disabilities. The service is open and not assessed for assistance. The purpose of the service is to break social isolation. At Ruffen and Bryggan, one can come for social interaction, joint excursions, and lunch at cost price.

ILSA is a daily activity for individuals over 18 years old living with a disability covered by either SoL or LSS. The service is assessed for assistance. ILSA helps customers find employment in a regular workplace.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in care and support work, e.g., housing support or home care. You have at least a nursing assistant education with psychiatric competence or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have basic knowledge in psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. It is an advantage if you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).

You should have basic computer skills and experience with social journal documentation.

A driver's license is required, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms.
