About Us

The physiotherapy clinic at Mälarsjukhuset provides rehabilitation in both outpatient and inpatient care. We are now looking for a physiotherapist for our inpatient departments. Working in inpatient care is rewarding but can also be demanding as we are an important piece in the discharge process. The physiotherapist group operates from shared facilities with occupational therapists and rehabilitation assistants, ensuring that colleagues are always nearby to ask questions, reflect with, seek help from, or assist in daily work.

Your Responsibilities

The moment a patient is admitted to the ward, the discharge process begins. Sometimes only medical needs need to be addressed, but often a physiotherapeutic assessment and intervention are also required. You will operate from our facilities where paramedicine inpatient care is centralized, but your base placement will be on one or more wards where you will meet patients to assess their needs for rehabilitative interventions and assistive devices.

You will work independently and take responsibility for your tasks in a structured manner. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, the ward team, patients and their relatives, as well as other healthcare providers. We support each other across departmental boundaries within what are called coverage groups, which means you will have the opportunity to gain insight into and experience working in other departments than the one where you are based.

Your Competence

You are a licensed physiotherapist. Since home visits may occur, a valid driver's license (B) is desirable. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Temporary employment for 5 months with a start date of 2026-01-19.
