Orthopedic Clinic

The Orthopedic Clinic at Nyköping Hospital is a large operation consisting of an orthopedic care department with both inpatient and emergency services, surgical operations, outpatient clinic with plaster services, and a nursing clinic. At the orthopedic clinic, six nurses and five nursing assistants/plaster technicians work, and we also have paramedical competence at the clinic that we work closely with.

Your Responsibilities

The work involves Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week. We create personal schedules within the framework of the operation. Our tasks are varied, including administrative tasks with telephone advice, 1177 and Link, waiting lists, and patient bookings to the clinic. We have a reception for: admission of patients prior to surgery, wound checks, dressings, and suture removals; we also support the doctors during their consultations.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has good collaboration skills and is attentive and unpretentious, who wants to contribute to the team with their experience and competence. You have a patient focus and create participation and consensus in the care meeting. Since we work closely together, we place great importance on personal qualities. It is important that you have a holistic view and can see the bigger picture and consider the best interests of the entire operation in actions and decisions. You are a licensed nurse with experience in outpatient work; it is also an advantage if you have experience in orthopedics or surgery.

Employment Type

Temporary employment for 6 months. Start date according to agreement.
