Our competent employees constantly develop new solutions for better care and work environment together with the operations manager, unit managers, medically responsible physician MLA, business developer, and our research and development strategist. We also have an IT technician connected to our operations as well as good support from our medical technology department.

The clinic consists of the ambulance stations in Eskilstuna/Strängnäs, Nyköping, and Katrineholm, as well as the healthcare alarm center in our own management. The region as an employer offers management and leadership training, mentorship, and many other benefits.

Your responsibilities

Your mission is to lead and further develop the operations at the ambulance stations in the northern part of the county, Eskilstuna/Strängnäs, both operationally and strategically. This includes creating the best possible conditions for employees to feel involved, contribute to development, and want to take responsibility. You will share the work with an assistant manager.

You report directly to the operations manager of the ambulance service. You are part of the ambulance management team, together with the operations manager, three unit managers, four assistant unit managers, business developer, MLA, R&D strategist, and support functions from HR and finance. On-call duty as ACIB (Ambulance Chief on Call) and some clinical duties are included in the position.

Your qualifications

We want you to be a licensed nurse and you should have previous experience from pre-hospital ambulance care. It is desirable that you have previous management experience and have preferably completed leadership training.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities where we see that you should be clear, have good collaboration skills, work relationship-building internally and externally, and have an engaging leadership style.

You should have good driving experience and a class B driver's license for at least 3 years. Class C/C1 driver's license is desirable.

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement.
