We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and we would like you to have previous experience in the role of psychologist, especially from work in adult psychiatry, other psychiatric specialties or habilitation. Experience in psychological treatment and/or experience in assessment, investigation, and diagnostics is also meritorious. Personal qualities are highly valued. As a person, you have empathetic ability and integrity. You value and see the benefits of collaboration with others. You are structured, independent, and proactive.

This is what you will work with

The work as a psychologist at our clinic consists of assessments, diagnostics, investigative work, and treatment. The work is conducted at a specialist psychiatric level, which means that you will meet patients with complex conditions and a high degree of comorbidity, which requires systematic approaches, organization, and the ability to adapt to the current situation. A high degree of independence is required since much of the psychologist's work is done individually, but you also need to have the ability to work in a team, as that approach permeates the clinic. As a psychologist with us, you have good opportunities for collegial supervision from an experienced psychologist and group supervision together with other psychologists within the area of operation; we offer targeted supervision in both investigation and psychological treatment.

At the clinic, doctors, specialist nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing staff, and administrative personnel work together. We are a really nice workgroup consisting of both relatively new employees and those who are more experienced. We strive to provide our patients with prompt and good care of high quality and a professional approach, which requires that we who work here have an empathetic, open, and low-arousal approach. Collaboration with the Social Insurance Agency, the Employment Service, and the municipality may also be part of the work, which requires that you have a good ability to collaborate with other actors.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position, daytime Monday - Friday. Start date by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
