The area of anesthesia/surgery/intensive care belongs to the Division of Operative and Diagnostics and consists of two units in the region, Sunderby Hospital and Gällivare Hospital. The ICU in Gällivare includes both intensive care and cardiac intensive care as well as post-op. Our four cornerstones are communication, respect, quality, and service.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with good knowledge of the Swedish language. Training in emergency care is an advantage, as well as experience in ICU emergency care or experience from another care department.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are stable, self-sufficient, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.


What you will work with

With us in the ICU/HIA/postop, the work is varied and educational, where both nursing and medical technology are included. In intensive care, we work with the acute management of patients with serious illness or injury. Here we take care of newly operated patients, trauma patients, and patients with failing vital functions. You will have close collaboration with other professionals who together form a team with the patient and their relatives in focus.

Information about the position

Permanent employment, full-time with working hours during the day, evening, and weekends. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
