Kitchen Assistant for Central Kitchen

Habo Kost is looking for a kitchen assistant for the Central Kitchen. Here we prepare meals for preschools, schools, and elderly care. We also run Restaurant Kärrsliljan and carry out other fun assignments for the municipality's various operations. Since we work with different clients, the tasks are varied and provide great room for flexibility and personal responsibility.

Working hours are scheduled during the day on weekdays and weekends. Work in other kitchens may occur.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with all common tasks in a kitchen such as preparing salads and sandwiches, serving lunch at Kärrsliljan, packing meal boxes, cleaning, and dishwashing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic education in restaurant and large-scale kitchen or experience that we assess as equivalent.

Good computer skills are required as much of our administrative work is done digitally.

We communicate a lot with each other and our clients, so you must master the Swedish language in both speech and writing and feel comfortable speaking on the phone.

Transporting food trolleys with a forklift is part of the job, so previous experience in forklift driving is an advantage.

You should be able to work independently and take your own initiatives, easily collaborate, and together with colleagues drive development forward.

Work in other kitchens may occur, so a driver's license and access to your own car are advantageous.
