Scandic Elmia is centrally located in Jönköping along the E4, close to the city's nightlife and attractions. At the hotel, our guests find modern meeting rooms and accommodation near the Elmia Fair and Rosenlundsbadet. They can also enjoy a delicious dinner in our restaurant Köksbaren.

We are now looking for a Shift Leader Restaurant for the Scandic Elmia hotel.

What does the role of Shift Leader Restaurant entail?

As someone working in our restaurant, you are the first person the guest meets, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a passion for food and beverages and appreciate order and cleanliness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and drinks and to be responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for hosting for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operation, you have an overall view of the guest flow in the restaurant and together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that the operation runs smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and also relieve the Restaurant Manager of certain administrative tasks.

Who are you?

To fit this role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and the desire to work with hands-on leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and a sales drive. However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit the role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
