Project Engineer in Civil Construction

Videntes continues its growth journey and the workforce needs to be expanded further. We are now looking for their next project engineer in civil construction for the office in Västervik. If you are interested in construction projects within infrastructure and have a post-secondary technical education, this is a challenging and developing role for you.

About the Role

As a project engineer at Videntes, you will work closely with project managers and support them in various projects. You will primarily work on projects within infrastructure. As a project engineer/project manager, you will, in consultation with the project manager and project group, plan the project's organization, schedule, cost estimates, and more. You will also handle ongoing questions and matters from clients and administer these.

Examples of Responsibilities:

Plan the project's organization, schedule, cost estimates, etc.
Administer and develop documentation and other relevant project administration
Follow up and monitor that ongoing projects comply with entered agreements and contracts
Assist in invoice reviews
Participate in and administer construction and project meetings
Physical site visits to project sites and contact with contractors

You will be based at Videntes' office in Västervik and primarily work on projects in eastern and inner Småland.

To fit into the role, you are either at the beginning of your career with documented interest in civil construction focusing on infrastructure, or you have a few years of relevant work experience from similar roles and are looking for a new challenge.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in construction engineering with a focus on road and water
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Driving license B

Meritorious:

Master's degree in infrastructure and construction
Relevant work experience as a project engineer or project manager in civil construction and infrastructure
