ABOUT THE POSITION

In the role of Test Lead, you will be part of the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems R&D team working on innovative solutions for sliding doors, swinging doors, revolving doors, and security entrance doors (SEC).

You will work in cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with various stakeholders such as developers, product specialists, product owners, mechanical engineers, and electronics engineers. As a test lead, you will also be part of a larger testing organization that includes other test leads, manual testers, and test automation engineers.

ASSA ABLOY's automation systems are used daily by millions of people in public environments worldwide. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

In the role of Test Lead, you will lead system testing for ASSA ABLOY's automatic door solutions and ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. To succeed in this role, you have good collaboration skills and the ability to lead and communicate with confidence and clarity.

Your responsibilities include:

Plan and coordinate testing activities in line with project goals and timelines
Ensure that testing follows the overall test strategy and quality standards
Lead and support the test team, including resource planning
Close collaboration with development and product teams
Create, execute, and maintain test cases based on requirements
Identify, document, and follow up on defects and deviations
Participate in testing forums and contribute to continuous improvements
Monitor testing progress and regularly report status

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a post-secondary education in areas such as mechanics, electronics, or similar
Has experience in testing and leadership within testing
Is fluent in English, both spoken and written
Has experience with Agile development methods

It is an advantage if you have:

Knowledge of product certification and regulatory compliance
Knowledge of Swedish in spoken and written form
