Junior System Engineers in Satellite Communication

Combitech is now looking for junior system engineers in satellite communication who want to take the next step and develop with us. In the role

As a satellite communication system engineer at Combitech, you will have the opportunity to work with:

• Development and construction of satellite communication systems, which may involve new development projects for our customers or analysis and problem-solving in existing systems.
• Integration and adaptations of satellite communication solutions on a variety of platforms.
• Testing and verification as well as technical system support for satellite communication systems.
• Analysis and calculations of transmission capacity, frequency planning, wave propagation, and delays.
• Development of prototypes for new product concepts and measurement connections.
• Solving advanced technical problems to help our customers develop and improve their systems.
• You will also have the opportunity to invest in your own development through our regular course weeks focusing on personal development.
• You will work in different teams but also independently.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a Civil/University Engineer or equivalent with a focus on space technology, RF, microwave technology.
• Has a few years of experience in digital communication and good knowledge in the RF area.
• It is an advantage if you have an understanding of measurement technology with knowledge in the RF area or have worked with various tools for analysis and verification of radiation, wave propagation, data transmission, and frequency planning, etc.
• Has good communication skills, is outgoing, and has the ability to create contacts and good relationships.
• Works methodically, purposefully, takes initiative, and has a drive to develop yourself and our customers.
• Is curious, has a strong drive, and a strong commitment to what you undertake.
• Can master the English language well in both spoken and written form.

As the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, it is required that you are a Swedish citizen and undergo and are approved in a security review with a background check.
