The Urban Environment Administration has a comprehensive responsibility for the city's public spaces and overall accessibility.
We work to create accessible, attractive, and vibrant urban environments and natural areas. The administration owns and manages the tram network in Gothenburg. Approximately 900 people work in the administration.
The Urban Environment Administration is part of the urban development administrations in Gothenburg City. Together, we work to create conditions for a functioning infrastructure, quality housing and premises, an inviting public environment, and strive for the city to be sustainable from all perspectives.
Job Responsibilities

In this exciting position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our properties, creating a safe and pleasant environment for our employees.
The properties for the department's operations cover a total area of 55,000 square meters and five larger buildings.
As a Property Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Operation, supervision, and maintenance of buildings and technical systems.
- Preventive maintenance and handling of reports of faults from operations, based on the applicable boundary list against the City Property Management.
- External property maintenance, such as maintenance of courtyards and outdoor environments.
- Coordination of office spaces and changing rooms, including needs analysis and development of solutions for changes in office spaces.
- Collaboration with relevant and trade union organizations on issues related to premises or changes affecting the work environment and workplaces.
- First point of contact for operations in property matters and responsible for the department's buildings.
- Contact and service to contractors, including follow-up of completed work.
- Orders, purchases, and invoice management in property-related areas.
- Responsible for contracts related to the properties.
- Lead property resources.
- Participation in the department's SBA work (systematic fire protection work) and responsibility as facility manager.
- Independent and problem-solving work, where you are expected to make decisions and drive cases forward.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has training as a property manager or other relevant education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Has documented experience in property management.
- Has experience in a similar role with a combination of practical and administrative tasks.
- Has knowledge of work environment issues related to property management.
- Has good knowledge of digital systems, such as case management systems, reporting, digital documentation, and invoice management.
- Can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Has a B driver's license.
