About the Service Administration

The Service Administration is tasked with providing support functions to the core operations of Ale Municipality, both strategically and operationally.

The administration is divided into three operational areas:

• Property – responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties and facilities, strategic local supply, project management for new construction and renovations, supervision, care, maintenance, and development of Ale Municipality's external environment. The total managed area is approximately 135,000 square meters, along with leased areas of about 50,000 square meters.
• Food – prepares and serves meals in the municipality's core operations according to applicable laws and guidelines.
• Operational Services – responsible for cleaning, janitorial services, municipal vehicles, and IT.

The administration employs a total of 240 staff members, all of whom operate under the Service Committee.

Job Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will work throughout Ale Municipality and be responsible for the installation, service, and troubleshooting of:

• Electronic locking systems and security cameras
• Delivery of security alarms
• Providing support to others in the organization

You will interact with municipal operations, businesses, and private customers, where you will be an important representative of our professional and service-oriented approach. Workdays are varied and include both planned assignments and urgent service issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation or service within electrical, low current, networks, or security systems
• Valid driver's license (B)
• Service-oriented, responsible, and solution-focused
• Enjoy working independently and in a team

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Education in property technology, operational technology, or HVAC
• Certificates such as Hot Work, BAS-U, or similar
• Experience from customer-oriented management

Additional Information

Experience in a politically governed organization is an advantage.

You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
