Job Responsibilities
The Operations and Maintenance department is responsible for supervision, repair, and operation of the outdoor environment, buildings, and installations over time, ensuring good technical status and satisfied customers.
This is achieved through close collaboration with customers, other departments within the administration, and other organizations in the city. The department is responsible for conducting inspections required by authorities and contributes to the development of energy-saving measures. We carry out the assignments requested by our customers.
We are now looking for two colleagues for our construction area, in the Hisingen/Centrum unit. You will therefore be based at our service office at Gullbergsvass.
Your Job Responsibilities
As a property technician, you will contribute to maintaining and repairing our properties. The role involves conducting operational rounds and working with preventive measures, as well as performing repairs based on reported issues. This may include changing faucets, repairing doors, locks, or appliances. It may also involve handling smaller customer assignments and maintenance tasks. To manage your work orders and similar tasks, you will use our administrative support systems on the computer or mobile.
The positions are temporary contracts for approximately 1 year.
Qualifications
The most important qualities for this position are a strong interest in properties and technology, a willingness to work collaboratively with others, and a caring attitude towards our customers. You enjoy repairing and maintaining everything that can be found in our premises. For this, you need to be a natural problem solver.
We want you to have a high school education in construction and civil engineering or equivalent education that we assess as comparable. You also need previous experience in the field. As an employee, you work for the organization's and the citizens of Gothenburg's best interests from a holistic perspective. It is important that you are attentive and clear with colleagues and customers. You work with freedom under responsibility and are a colleague that others appreciate.
A B driver's license and computer skills are required for this position, as it involves some administration.
