Your Responsibilities

Your role will include, among other things:

• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment during urgent needs and planned interventions.
• Working with preventive maintenance to maximize the availability of the machinery.
• Contributing to the development of our new maintenance system and registering spare parts.
• Collaborating closely with production to solve problems and optimize machines.
• Working with varied tasks in a factory environment where equipment is located at different heights.

Good to Know

The position is located at Axel Christiernsson in Nol, just north of Gothenburg. You can easily reach it by car or commuter train, with the station located close to the factory. Working hours are weekdays between 07:00 and 16:00, and you will have the factory manager as your immediate supervisor.

Our Expectations

We are looking for someone with a high school education in industrial or workshop mechanics, or equivalent skills acquired through relevant work experience. You have experience in maintenance work and a good understanding of mechanics. It is an advantage if you have practical experience in mechanics, for example, through work with cars or similar. You should also be comfortable with practical work in an industrial environment where interventions near machines and production are a natural part of everyday life.

Experience in troubleshooting, repairing engines and pumps, as well as experience in welding, turning, milling, or simpler sheet metal work is meritorious. If you also have knowledge in pneumatics, electricity, or PLC, that is an extra plus.

As a person, you are meticulous about both safety and quality and have the ability to prevent problems before they arise. You work independently and take responsibility for solving tasks efficiently, while also being cooperative and communicative, enjoying working together with colleagues.
