We are now looking for a dedicated and solution-oriented Service Technician who wants to contribute to ensuring that the company's customers have the best possible experience through great service and well-functioning devices.

About the position

As a Service Technician, you will be part of our dedicated Service team and report to the Service Team Leader. You will be responsible for handling incoming repair requests and technical inquiries from our customers, with the goal of delivering fast and professional solutions according to agreed service levels (SLA). You will primarily repair and troubleshoot handheld devices such as scanners and label printers, and then prepare finished devices for shipment to customers.

Your main tasks include:

• Register incoming repair requests in our business system.
• Assess and recommend appropriate service actions for IT equipment.
• Prepare and send cost estimates and quotes to customers.
• Keep customers continuously informed about the status of the service process.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and suppliers (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell, and Datalogic).
• Log all cases and customer communications in our case management system.

Contract repairs and exchange pool cases have the highest priority and must be handled with precision and speed according to the applicable agreement.

Is technically skilled, solution-oriented, and has previously worked in a role where hardware service was part of your daily routine. You have a structured approach to work, are meticulous in your documentation, and find it easy to communicate with internal colleagues, customers, and suppliers. We would also like you to possess leadership qualities and find management enjoyable.

• Has a good understanding of hardware and IT equipment.
• Is familiar with systems and can work in multiple systems simultaneously.
• Has strong communication skills and good social abilities.
• Has a desire to contribute to the team's development and the customers' experience.

About the employment

This is a full-time consulting assignment with immediate start and consideration of a maximum 1-month notice period. The assignment initially runs for 6 months and will then transition to employment with the client company provided that both parties are satisfied with the collaboration.
