Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential areas close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality has a well-developed cultural and association life as well as good conditions for outdoor activities and recreation. The municipality's vision is to reach 35,000 inhabitants by 2035. Stenungsund Municipality is part of the Gothenburg Region's municipal association, which is a forum for cooperation and exchange of experiences, as well as several other inter-municipal collaborations.

The position is linked to our three residences: Tallåsen, Pressaregården, and Lövberga, which is our new residence. You will work at all residences, which means that travel between the residences is included in the position.

The position of host is a new role within our operations. You will play an important role in establishing working methods and contributing to development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a host who wants to be responsible for ensuring that our residences are well-maintained and function as a safe place for the elderly. As a host, you are a central part of the operation, ensuring that premises, equipment, and services always maintain high quality. You work closely with staff and residents to create a homely atmosphere.

Your tasks may include:

  • Mail and package handling - receiving, distributing, and managing deliveries.
  • Coordination role regarding inventory and furniture - orders, assembly, reuse, and internal relocation.
  • Keys and locking systems - programming of hotel locks, medicine cabinets, and tags.
  • Technical support - basic troubleshooting, log management, and installation/management of AV equipment.
  • Maintenance and practical tasks - inventory/purchasing, changing light bulbs, setting up curtains, furnishing for events, moving beds, and checking electrical functions in case of faults.
  • Administrative - working in the municipality's e-services and operational systems to manage orders, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Collaboration with service companies and contractors as needed.
  • Fire protection inspections (SBA) and other recurring supervision.
  • Developing good relationships with suppliers and contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS

For you, it is natural to provide good service, be proactive, self-driven, and take responsibility. You have a good ability to adapt to new conditions and can see the whole picture and plan daily work.

We see that you who are applying:

  • Have a completed three-year upper secondary education with a focus on property management or construction/installation or education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • Have at least two years of documented work experience in practical and technical work within property management or similar services.
  • Have good computer skills and knowledge of the municipality's e-services and operational systems.
  • Are self-driven, take initiative, and find it easy to plan and prioritize.
  • Are service-oriented, attentive, and have a safe and professional demeanor.
  • A driving license B is a requirement, as the work involves moving between our three nursing homes.
  • The role requires you to be flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoy a varied job where no day is like the other.

Meritorious:

  • Post-secondary education in property management.
  • Experience in craft professions as well as practical knowledge of general property maintenance.
  • Experience with fire alarms, access systems, and IT skills for basic installations.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

This is a new position, which means that other tasks may occur, and you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the role together with us.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime.
