About the technician job

As a technician at Alstom, you will work with troubleshooting and warranty repairs of Zefiro vehicles. You will follow clear instructions and ensure that the vehicles are completed for delivery to the customer. The role involves both practical work and administration, where accuracy and structure are crucial.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and warranty repairs of Zefiro vehicles
• Conduct testing and commissioning according to instructions
• Handle technical investigations and reporting of field data
• Administer forms and documentation
• Support validation and updating of maintenance documentation
• Ensure that the vehicles are ready for delivery

The candidate we are looking for

We are looking for someone with strong technical skills who enjoys working in a structured manner according to clear processes. You are analytical, meticulous, and have a high sense of responsibility. Good collaboration and communication skills are important as you will work closely with other technicians and staff at the depot.

We would like you to have:

• Education or experience in automotive electrical systems, vehicle technology, and/or troubleshooting
• Experience in troubleshooting within the aviation, industrial, or automotive sectors
• Ability to assemble electrical and mechanical components according to drawings
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is also advantageous to have:

• Knowledge in electrical systems
• Experience with heavy vehicles
• Familiarity with the railway industry
• Understanding of software and logical functions
