About Us

The Surgical Clinic in Nyköping is a modern, dynamic, and development-oriented clinic. The clinic's primary mission consists of emergency and planned care in surgery, urology, and endoscopy for the southern region of Sörmland. In addition, the surgical clinic has several regional assignments such as endocrine surgery, obesity surgery, advanced hernia surgery, kidney surgery, etc. Our treatment offerings encompass all surgical modalities, including robotic surgery. The clinic has several actively researching and PhD staff members.

The Urology section has a regional assignment for malignant and benign kidney surgery and conducts extensive and broad surgical and outpatient activities in new facilities with complete state-of-the-art equipment. We have our own urological day care and inpatient care. The Urology section has several management and process assignments in the Greater Region and is part of several program areas. Urological specialists currently have no on-call duties, a urological standby line is under discussion.

Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for a senior physician/specialist in urology. Responsibilities include rounds of inpatient patients, outpatient activities, surgeries, as well as administrative work and urological teaching. You should be able to mentor your younger urology colleagues in their development into independent operating urologists.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed specialist physician in urology according to SUF's regulations. Experience in robotic kidney surgery is an advantage. We seek an ambitious and committed person with good collaborative skills with all staff groups. In addition to your urological expertise, we see that you contribute to a positive work environment where both you and your colleagues thrive and develop. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
