At the radiology department in Katrineholm, we are 24 colleagues working together in a close-knit team.

About us

The Radiology Clinic is a medium-sized clinic that offers both breadth and specialization. We work with close and coaching leadership that promotes development for you as an individual. The clinic consists of two hospitals that collaborate; you will have your base station at Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm, but there is also flexibility available. The region promotes development and is keen for you to want to grow, whether it be in a specific modality or type of examination, or even in leadership if that is your interest. In this role, you will work closely with doctors, nursing assistants, and other radiographers.

Kullbergska Hospital offers conventional X-ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound. We are very proud of our newly started MRI service, which helps fewer patients need to travel to other locations, and we who work in the unit get a rewarding variation in our work. The clinic also performs mammography screening and clinical breast diagnostics in Sömland. The equipment is modern with digital imaging and referral information.

Since the summer of 2023, our brand new fluoroscopy lab is complete. The lab is multifunctional with two systems in one, providing a wide variety of examination possibilities.

Your tasks

Our clinic performs CT, MRI, ultrasound, as well as conventional X-ray and mammography. The work involves day/evening and weekend shifts. On-call work at night is included, starting from home. If you live further away from the hospital, there are on-call rooms available. We have ongoing development work and are now facing new exciting challenges. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys change work and is interested in influencing flows within your section. Everyone is part of a team with rotating tasks in both CT and conventional X-ray, which allows everyone to develop in these areas. MRI staff also work with CT and conventional X-ray.

Your competence

You are a licensed radiographer and speak and write good Swedish as the language is an important tool in the work. We are looking for someone who values good collaboration. As a person, you are proactive, have good teamwork skills, and are flexible. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

There is currently also an opportunity for a section leader position in the CT section for those who have previous experience in similar roles.

Employment form

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement.
