About the client:

A 10-year-old boy with NPF diagnoses. When he gets stressed, he may become aggressive; you should try to prevent this and be familiar with low-arousal approaches. He enjoys talking about mathematics, space, playing board games, or Nintendo Switch (Mario Kart).

The assignment

The assignment is performed every weekend for 5 hours. The family is open to having two respite workers share the assignment.

Qualifications/requirements for the respite worker:

• Fluent in Swedish
• Experience with NPF diagnoses (through work or as a relative)
• Over 20 years old
• Shares interests with the client
• Familiar with low-arousal approaches

About the position:

5 hours/week, performed every weekend. Start date November 1.

As a respite worker, you relieve relatives of a child with a disability in the home or local area. This can be so that parents can have some personal time with other siblings.
