BATMAN
BATMAN is a bridge and tunnel management system used by the Swedish Transport Administration and several other stakeholders to plan maintenance for their assets. BATMAN has approximately 100,000 structures and about 2,500 users. The assignment includes providing administrative support for the BATMAN helpdesk. This includes managing access requests and performing simpler tasks and answering questions from users.
VViS
The Swedish Transport Administration's Road Weather Information System (VViS) is an operation for measuring, collecting, and presenting weather and road conditions for maintenance and traffic management of roads. The Swedish Transport Administration is responsible for the establishment, operation, and management of VViS measurement stations. The operation, maintenance, and reinvestment of the physical measurement stations are led by appointed project managers and carried out with the help of contracted entrepreneurs (service technicians), each responsible for their geographical area. The VViS management places demands on the service organization to ensure measurement value quality and high operational reliability. For technicians, VViS support serves as first-line support, assisting with troubleshooting in systems, fault reporting, and material orders.
About the Assignment
The support must be available to receive incoming calls on weekdays from 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:00, all year round. During the period from August 15 to October 15, a significantly larger number of calls per day is expected, and the capacity must be adjusted accordingly.
The assignment will include daily tasks such as:
- Resolving simpler issues based on checklists.
- Performing daily routines.
- Carrying out simpler tasks prioritized by the BATMAN administrators.
- Managing alarms and fault reports, deciding on and executing actions based on strategies and instructions from the VViS management.
- Supporting service technicians in connection with corrective and preventive maintenance as well as reinvestments (to a lesser extent). Service technicians have undergone training and should fundamentally be self-sufficient and solve tasks independently.
- Receiving orders via phone or [email protected] from service technicians.
- Ordering freight/transport under the Swedish Transport Administration's procurement agreements and with delivery times according to instructions and strategies established by the VViS management.
The assignment involves daily work in the following systems:
- GUS MAXIMO
- NM10
- VViS-Presentation
- Frost Depth Map
- Bosch Configuration Manager
- Deployment Log
