About the role Technical Specialist / Senior Software Engineer We are looking for an experienced technical specialist who wants to drive the development of advanced technical solutions within energy and IT systems. The role involves working both independently and in teams, where you are expected to analyze complex technical needs, lead improvement initiatives, and contribute to high quality in our deliveries. You will be an important partner to both management, customers, and cross-functional teams, tasked with transforming technical requirements into sustainable and business-oriented solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze technical requirements and complex system environments to ensure quality and identify improvement potential.
• Drive and coordinate technical improvement initiatives in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. 
• Identify and resolve obstacles in delivery processes and contribute to increased efficiency and customer satisfaction. 
• Support the organization with in-depth technical analyses, risk assessments, and proposals for preventive measures.
• Contribute to skill development by mapping needs, supporting onboarding, and developing long-term strategies for team enhancement.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant work experience in technical development or system integration, preferably with experience in leadership roles.
• Post-secondary education in technology or equivalent experience (15+ years in a relevant field).
• Strong system understanding and ability to see the big picture in complex environments where energy and IT systems interact.
• Documented experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical documentation.
• Good communication skills with a habit of translating technical requirements into understandable documents for various stakeholders.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Location The position is based in Ludvika with the possibility of hybrid work.
• Presence in the office at least 1 day/week is to be discussed with the nearest manager.
