Medical Specialist Clinic (MSK)

The Medical Specialist Clinic (MSK) is part of Primary Care in western Östergötland, Motala Hospital.

Within MSK, a broad internal medicine operation is conducted, and the clinic encompasses emergency care, inpatient care, outpatient care, and advanced home care.

At MAVA/Stroke, patients with various diagnoses are cared for, with the Stroke care team focusing on stroke care, aftercare, and rehabilitation. In the MAVA care team, patients with various diagnoses such as infections, lung diseases, endocrine diseases, gastrointestinal issues, hematological diseases, and heart diseases are treated.

Job Description

In your role as a nursing assistant, you are a significant part of the team around the patient and participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the multiprofessional care of patients. You are responsible for general care, participate in rehabilitation, sampling, and examinations. Teamwork is an important part of patient-centered care.

About You

A nursing assistant education is required. Since you will be communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues, it is important that you have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and maturity. As a person, you are positive and see opportunities with changes and enjoy working closely with other professional groups in a team. You have good collaboration skills, listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are self-driven and structured and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You should be flexible as emergency care encompasses everything from acute care to end-of-life care.

Application and Employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement. The second position is a maternity cover and will last until May 2, 2027, at the latest.

We apply rotation shifts day/evening/night. The work model 90/10 means a weekly working time of 34 hours and 25 minutes instead of 37 hours, which gives 4 hours for leisure interests each week.
