Geodata Unit is now looking for a survey engineer with experience in cadastral surveying – an important piece in the community building process in Nacka.

About us

At the Geodata Unit, we are 28 employees divided into three teams: Measurement and Mapping, municipal cadastral authority (KLM), and GIS. Together, we work closely with both internal clients and citizens. At the Geodata Unit, we collectively drive the development of high-quality geodata and highlight its significance as a strategic resource in community building.

Your mission

As a survey engineer focusing on cadastral surveying, you will play an important role in the property formation process with us in Nacka. You have solid experience in conducting archive investigations, calculations, transformations, and quality improvements. We work in TopoCad and Geosecma.

In addition to cadastral surveying, you will perform various types of measurement assignments for both internal clients and the citizens of Nacka – including boundary demarcation, base maps, building staking, position controls, and new construction maps. Of our nine measurement and mapping engineers, five work in the field, two of whom specialize in cadastral surveying.

You will be part of an open and knowledge-sharing work environment where measurement and mapping engineers, GIS engineers, and cadastral surveyors collaborate closely. A cadastral surveyor is specifically available to support more complex cases and offers internal training as needed. You will be part of a unit that supports each other, shares knowledge, and develops together.

Your tasks include:

• Conducting cadastral surveying and other types of measurement assignments
• Performing archive investigations, calculations, transformations, and quality improvements
• Conducting measurements for boundary demarcations, base maps, building staking, position controls, and new construction maps
• Working both independently in one-person teams and together with measurement colleagues as needed
• Using Trimble S6, S7 total stations, Trimble GNSS R10 and R980, and our three four-wheel-drive electric cars

Furthermore, we see that you are:

• Detail-oriented and responsible
• Quality-conscious and service-oriented
• Willing to collaborate but also able to work independently
• In good physical shape for fieldwork

You have:

• Relevant education in surveying technology or cadastral surveying
• Experience in cadastral surveying
• A valid driver's license (B)
