Project Engineer with Hydro Competence

Implenia is now looking for a Project Engineer with Hydro Competence for the Vasastan project, which is part of the West Link in Gothenburg. The Vasastan project is part of the West Link's sub-phase Haga, which includes Haga Station, with tunnel driving for a large station area spanning over 50 meters, and includes track tunnels, parallel rescue and service tunnels, as well as ventilation and smoke tunnels. The contract involves extensive and complex structures and is technically complicated in several respects.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, optimizing, analyzing, and maintaining water-related systems and processes within the project. The role includes monitoring existing water systems, designing and planning water systems related to production and progress, leakage measurement, and flow calculations.

You will work with:

  • Developing and optimizing water-related systems and water flow solutions.
  • Conducting leakage measurements.
  • Performing calculations and measurements of water flows.
  • Participating in the design and planning of water-related facilities.
  • Ensuring that solutions meet requirements and legislation.
  • Collaborating with production and clients.
  • Participating in meetings and reporting results to clients.

Formal Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in hydrology, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or similar.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in water management or similar.
  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Driver's license.

Meritorious:

  • Experience in project management or working on larger infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge according to regulation SNFS 1990:11.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and climate impact in water projects.
