Job Description

We want to strengthen our dedicated landscape and planning team in Stockholm with an experienced landscape architect who has worked with landscapes and planning investigations in early stages, analyses, detailed planning, urban planning analyses, and similar assignments.

The role involves working with physical planning according to the Planning and Building Act. Detailed planning is a central and prioritized task that you will work with the most.

We are a curious and engaged team of 20 people working in planning and landscape architecture, with a strong drive in sustainability and design issues. We have developing collaborations with other engineering and design competencies within AFRY to together see opportunities and tackle challenges for our future cities. We participate in seminars, study visits, forums, and various networking contexts to learn and contribute to learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for a positive and clear person who is driven by good collaboration, quality results, and someone who wants to grow and take responsibility. As a landscape architect with experience in detailed planning, you work creatively and structured in our engaged and curious teams. You are responsible with a high ability to independently organize and prioritize your work.

• Degree from a landscape architecture program or equivalent education.

• Holds the title of landscape architect LAR/MSA according to the Swedish Architects.

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 3 years in project management roles within detailed planning.

• Ability to produce, coordinate, and lead the development of planning documents on behalf of municipalities.

• Well-versed in the planning process according to PBL and experience working in a politically governed organization.

• Experience working with comprehensive plans (ÖP) or planning programs is an advantage.

• Experience working as a consultant is an advantage.
