Welcome to apply for a position at one of Sweden's largest non-profit healthcare providers
and join us in Advanced Home Healthcare, which in our opinion – is one of the finest jobs available.
Who do we care for?
At Stockholms Sjukhem, advanced home healthcare (ASIH) and palliative care (SPSV) work closely together. This allows us to be responsive and flexible to the wishes and needs of patients and their relatives, and to offer a valuable and meaningful continuity of care. Our target group consists of patients aged 18 and older, with curable and chronic serious illnesses.
Are you our colleague?
As a specialist nurse, you will perform the usual tasks of a nurse within the ASIH operations. You will mentor both students and colleagues. You take active responsibility and are given the opportunity to plan and drive development and improvement work with the support of the clinic management, which takes place in project form with allocated time as needed. It is part of your responsibility to stay updated with new findings and developments in the field of knowledge. The work aims to strengthen patient safety, our person-centered care, and competence development within the unit. You will be part of a network group with specialist nurses from other units within palliative care.
Your personal qualities are important
To thrive with us, you need to feel confident working independently. You will always have close support from your colleagues and manager, but the nature of the work requires you to make quick decisions as situations demand. Your approach is soft and respectful, and you have the ability to naturally establish a good relationship with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
Requirements for the position
We are looking for a licensed nurse with completed specialist training in palliative care or oncology. Since we often receive students, it is an advantage if you have completed a mentor training course. The position requires a valid driver's license (B) and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
We can offer you
a permanent position with a probationary period. Day/evening shifts (2 out of 5 weekends). Start date is according to agreement.
More information and application
If you have further questions about the position, please contact the recruiting unit manager Annika Norman at 08 122 821 05 or acting unit manager Lotta Billgert at 08 122 821 04. Selection is ongoing.
