About us

Närhälsan Tranemo Health Center is a medium-sized health center with just over 6,300 registered patients, our catchment area is a rural area with Tranemo as the central location.

The health center has doctor- and nurse-led outpatient services, telephone advice, nurse-led specialist clinics, child health care, mental health services, a very well-functioning laboratory, and proximity to rehabilitation services. About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range and include the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital health meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will work largely independently with your own clinic for asthma/COPD patients, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health center.

About you

You are a licensed nurse and have additional training in asthma/COPD of at least 15 higher education credits. Previous experience as an asthma/COPD nurse and/or from work in primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitization and business development.

About the recruitment process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
