About us

Närhälsan Tranemo health center is a medium-sized clinic with just over 6,300 registered patients, our catchment area is a rural area with Tranemo as the central location.

You will be offered a job in a pleasant workplace with 25 dedicated and knowledgeable employees. At the health center, there are doctor- and nurse-led outpatient services, telephone advice, nurse-led specialist clinics, child health care, mental health services, a very well-functioning laboratory, and proximity to rehabilitation services. About the job

As a psychiatric nurse, you will work broadly with patients of all ages both through your own outpatient work and in close collaboration with doctors, where the range of tasks is varied. The work is carried out through both acute and planned activities. You will work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up patients.

A close collaboration takes place with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team together with a social worker, psychologist, and rehabilitation coordinator, but also with other actors such as specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the business forward. Training future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so mentoring students is also part of your role at the health center.

About you

You are a licensed nurse with specialist training in psychiatric care. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a psychiatric nurse in primary care and have worked as a care coordinator in mental health.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitization and business development. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

About the recruitment process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
