Information Security Specialist at the E-Health Agency

About the Position

As an information security specialist at the E-Health Agency, you will work alongside colleagues in the security and preparedness unit, closely collaborating with the IT security manager, architects, operations staff, and the organization.

Your responsibility is to strengthen the development of the agency's systematic information security. You have the ability to work systematically with a holistic perspective, leading efforts to develop governing documents and methodological support, implementing strategies, working methods, and routines throughout the organization, and ensuring that the information security work supports the agency's operations and goals. You will also develop and conduct training and participate in the agency's risk work with associated analyses.

Information security is a vital and central part of ensuring the quality of the agency's mission to support health and care through digital services and solutions.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Leading, coordinating, following up, and developing the E-Health Agency's work with information security.
• Developing internal regulations, methods, and processes based on legal requirements, implementing these, and monitoring compliance.
• Identifying and assessing threats and translating this into internal requirements and risks for the organization.
• Initiating risk assessments to identify and manage threats and vulnerabilities.
• Planning and conducting target group-specific training, workshops, or other communication efforts within the field of information security.
• Supporting management and other employees in assessments regarding information security.
• Monitoring and following developments in the field.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• a relevant university degree, or other education combined with work experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• at least five years of experience working with information security in public operations (state, region, or municipality), of which at least three years as responsible for information security
• experience in analyzing, revising, and implementing management systems and governance, support, and follow-up of information security for large amounts of personal data
• experience in continuity planning for digital services and operations
• experience in conducting risk and vulnerability analyses and requirements specification during procurement/purchasing.

It is advantageous for the position if you have:

• experience and understanding of how information security work, including data protection, can be integrated into security and/or quality management systems
• experience in information security work in agile teams
• certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar.
