About SofiagårdenSofiagården is located in a cozy neighborhood in Södermalm, Stockholm, next to Vitabergsparken. We have 50 apartments, of which 30 places are focused on dementia and 20 places on somatic care.

You can easily reach us by public transport. Take bus line 2 to the Erstagatan stop or bus line 76 to the Åsögatan stop.

• We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and care through Vardaga's Dementia Academy (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/demens/).

• We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you, as an employee, have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.

• We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/ung-omsorg-pa-vara-boenden/). This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the living experience for our residents.

• You have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group manager can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important.
