In the role of palliative healthcare assistant, you will, among other things:

• Provide person-centered care and symptom-relieving interventions.
• Support patients and relatives through a professional, calm, and empathetic approach.
• Perform sampling, wound dressings, documentation, and other usual tasks.
• Participate in planning and follow-up of patients' continued care.
• Work closely with other professionals in the team to create a good overall picture of the patient's needs.
• Working hours: Desired schedule during the day, evening, and every third weekend.

We welcome you who are a trained healthcare assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure, or are a trained healthcare assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, transcripts from your healthcare education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of protected professional title must be attached to your application.

It is an advantage if you have further education or experience in palliative care, geriatrics, or home healthcare. You have a warm and empathetic attitude and find it easy to create security in difficult situations. Furthermore, you are flexible, self-driven, and enjoy working closely with your colleagues in a team. You have good documentation skills and preferably experience with the Cosmic journal system. Since the work involves home visits, you need to have a B driver's license.

The application should include a CV, personal letter, and transcripts of completed healthcare courses, as well as any proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of protected professional title. Other certificates, transcripts, diplomas, etc., should be provided at a possible interview.
