Do you want to make a difference for children and young people with hearing impairment?

The hearing team for children and youth in Gothenburg is looking for someone with a big childlike spirit and a desire to develop your profession in audiology.

Working as a pediatric audiologist with us means developing in both diagnostics and re/habilitation. We work flexibly with all aspects of audiology in close collaboration with the Hearing and Balance Clinic. We also work solution-focused with various technical solutions (for example, bimodal adaptations, bone-conducted hearing aids, and school aids). Together, we operate in a cross-professional team to achieve the best care for our patients and guardians. We are a driven and cheerful close-knit group that focuses on the patient.

We are now looking for 1-2 audiologists for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will:

• Perform age-appropriate diagnostics and special measurements, such as newborn screening and brainstem audiometry.
• Perform hearing aid fittings and adjustments of other aids based on the child's specific needs.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with various professionals with common team planning and cooperation with other organizations regarding the child's need for habilitation efforts.
• Participate in parent education and group activities.
• Join regional networks for pediatric audiologists and host students.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed audiologist.
• Has clinical experience, preferably as a pediatric audiologist, or is curious to deepen your knowledge in pediatric audiology and habilitation.
• Is independent, flexible, and has an easy time collaborating and building good relationships.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
