Väröbacka School is a growing F-9 school with 400 students. The school is located next to rolling fields of grain in the community of Väröbacka between Kungsbacka and Varberg. It is important for us to work for community and well-being where we together strengthen students' learning and inspire them to achieve their dreams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will follow Varberg Municipality's basic program for the medical services of student health, which includes health talks, vaccinations, open reception, and participating in the school's student health team.

You will work to ensure that students receive the best possible development by creating environments that promote their learning, development, and health.

You will support the student's development towards the school's goals, initiating preventive and health-promoting measures at both individual and group levels.

You will work closely with students, guardians, teachers, and school management. Collaboration with external actors such as BUP and pediatric medicine is also part of the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed nurse with further education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse.

You find it easy to collaborate, are comfortable working independently, and taking your own initiative.

You are driven and engaged in your work, creating good relationships and instilling trust.

Good computer skills are an advantage as all documentation is done in the Prorenata journal system.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. Personal suitability is of great importance. Experience working with children and adolescents is an advantage.
