Job Responsibilities

With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a creative environment focused on providing our patients with individualized rehabilitation with high patient participation.

Here in department 51, you will combine acute medical care as a nurse with the benefit of getting to know the patient and coaching them towards new goals.

The team consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, rehab coaches, and nursing assistants. It is the team, together with the patient and relatives, that shapes the rehabilitation goals.

You will have close collaboration with patients over a longer care period, allowing you to get to know them deeply - a significant advantage in our view!

About the Workplace

We are a rehabilitation medical unit in Halland consisting of inpatient care and day rehabilitation. Our patients are adults, and the most common diagnoses are stroke, brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. We work in two teams. The goal of rehabilitation is increased activity and participation in a changed life situation. The goal for the patient is to return to an active life, with an average length of stay of about 25 days.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You need to have a strong interest and commitment to rehabilitation, as well as competence in acute medical care.

A pedagogical approach is essential to guide the patient in various training situations. You have the ability to build relationships with our patients and their relatives, even with patients with cognitive difficulties. We offer all new employees, regardless of professional experience, a mentor as well as internal training to increase your knowledge and strengthen you in your professional role.
